Artist profile
Nadia Auleta
Art teacher and watercolor painter.
Nadia Auleta, art teacher and watercolor painter paints mainly using the ancient Japanese Gyotaku technique which involves the use of real fish as a real matrix for the first impression of the painting which is subsequently finished with a brush.
The artistic technique proposed by the painter manages to represent our Mediterranean fish fauna in a very fascinating way. His works have been exhibited several times in national and international art galleries as well as at the Galata Museo del Mare in Genoa.
Nadia was also recently interviewed by national Rai 3 for a format regarding Italian regional excellence and was a guest artist at the 2022 Japanese Festival in Florence with Gyotaku art.
