The power of nature and the harmony of creation told through art
From November 16 to 29, 2024, the Buranello Civic Center in Genoa will host the solo exhibition Savana by Carlo Piterà, an unmissable event for contemporary art lovers and those reflecting on the relationship between humanity and nature. The inauguration, held on November 16, attracted a large audience, captivated by Piterà’s ability to convey the power of nature through his works.

Art as a reflection on natural balance
The works of Carlo Piterà displayed in Savana highlight the delicate balance between humanity and the natural world, symbolized by the leopard. This animal, featured in many of the pieces, becomes an emblem of primordial strength and the resilience of nature, contrasting with increasing urbanization. In the background of several canvases, skyscrapers and urban landscapes serve as visual reminders of the impact of human intervention on the environment.
The exhibition’s guiding phrase, inspired by a thought from musician Rouges, states: “Man, through his actions, if he strays too far from the perfect harmony of creation, will succumb to its strength, becoming extinct and allowing nature to reclaim the space that was taken from it.” This reflection accompanies each artwork, amplifying the artist’s ecological message.
The pride of Italian craftsmanship
The Savana exhibition also celebrates the excellence of Italian craftsmanship in contemporary art. Karine Aivasian, founder of Kreative Art Design, the hub of Made in Italy, expressed: “We are proud to have Carlo Piterà’s works in our roster, an artist who, with his talent, extraordinarily represents the Italian ability to combine tradition and innovation.”
This connection with Kreative Art Design emphasizes the international value of Piterà’s work, an artist capable of addressing universal themes with a language that speaks to both the heart and the mind.
A multisensory experience
Beyond the visual impact of the works, the exhibition offers a multisensory experience thanks to a musical piece composed by Rouges for the occasion. This track, available for free on the YouTube channel Pochi Discorsi (Storie Musicali), enriches the exhibit, creating a dialogue between sound and image that deeply engages visitors.
A high-value cultural event
The exhibition is open to the public for free from Monday to Friday, with continuous hours from 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM, at the Buranello Civic Center, one of Genoa’s most active cultural hubs. The event was organized with the support of the Centro Ovest Municipality, the La Strada dell’Arte project, and the graphics and concept curated by Studio Stemma.
A universal message through art
With Savana, Carlo Piterà not only showcases the beauty of nature but also invites the public to reflect on critical issues such as planetary preservation and the necessity of maintaining ecological balance. The artist, with his unique style blending realism and symbolism, reminds us that art can be a powerful tool for raising awareness and inspiring concrete actions.
